Alastair James McKenzie began his theatre career with GreekTheatreNow's Antigone, performing at the sold-out venue of The National Botanic Gardens. His work as Haemon and a member of the Chorus was nominated by the CAT Awards for Best Ensemble.
Following his passion for Shakespeare, he subsequently performed in Lakespeare's gender-swapped The Taming of the Shrew as Bianco, performing in venues of up to 1,600 patrons.
Almost three weeks passed before he performed in Almost, Maine as five different characters.
His role in The Good Boy Game garnered critical acclaim from reviewers who praised his visceral performance as a violent 16-year-old American teenager.
